Daily Field Adjuster

Allied American USA is actively recruiting for Adjusters for Field Task Assignments. Field Adjuster deployment will be a Task Model, with adjusters simply using Xactimate/XactAnalysis for claims. Xactimate/XactAnalysis is required. Task Field Adjusters must have an active Florida adjusters license, and should be prepared to quickly deploy to storm sites across the state of Florida.

COMMERCIAL / LARGE LOSS QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) FILE REVIEWER

Allied American USA is seeking an experienced Commercial / Large Loss Quality Assurance(QA) FileReviewer interested in joining our File Review Team!

The Quality Assurance (QA) File Reviewer is essential in verifying that the reports submitted by our property field adjusters align with the rigorous standards of Allied American USA. This role involves a comprehensive examination of the reports and estimates returned by property field adjusters to ensure their accuracy, compliance with carrier and Department of Insurance requirements, and conformity to the guidelines set byAllied American USA. The position demands meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of insurance claims processes, and the ability to offer helpful feedback to property field adjusters, there by guaranteeing that current and future report and estimate submissions are free of errors, complete, and meet all the requirements set forth by the carrier, state-specific Department of Insurance, and Allied AmericanUSA. Acting as the final checkpoint before claims are finalized and reports are forwarded to insurance carriers, the QA File Reviewer maintains a pivotal role in ensuring that the end product reflects the high service and quality standards of Allied American USA.

The QA File Reviewer we are seeking should have a minimum of the below requirements:

  • Florida Adjuster License with Active Self-Appointment
  • Multi-State Licensing is a plus, especially New York and California
  • Experience with Lloyds of London carriers mandatory
  • 8+ years of Property File Review experience
  • 8+ years Commercial / Large Loss QA File Reviewer experience
  • Prior Property Field Adjusting experience, preferred
  • Profound knowledge of estimating residential and commercial properties using Xactimate, including collaborations
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm ET

General Liability Claims Manager

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership to Allied American USA’s General Liability (GL) Team. The GL Team handles a variety of litigated and non-litigated claims, mostly involving complex commercial premises bodily injury and property damage. You will be responsible for leading the team, providing thoughtful technical insight and for operationally supporting the team.

  • Lead in a thoughtful, innovative and proactive manner. 
  • Assign and oversee all liability claim handling by team of on behalf of client companies. 
  • Support resolution-focused practices and metrics aimed at achieving the best possible outcomes for our Insureds and clients. 
  • Hire, train, manage and maintain qualified staff. 
  • Develop and maintain work, service and claim handling standards for technical and support staff. 
  • Assist the VP of TPA Programs with providing loss reporting to reinsurers, excess carriers and clients. 
  • Interact, assist and communicate with client personnel, the public and internal departments to improve communication and service compatibilities in an effort to maintain and enhance Allied American’s reputation. 
  • Assist in developing and maintaining claim/legal resources to include legal counsel, adjusters and expert witnesses. 
  • Maintain and keep staff apprised of current information with respect to legislation, case law and industry developments/program developments. 
  • Conduct claim audits of adjusters’ work product and monitor accuracy of loss data. 
  • Ability to work with independent auditors. 
  • May assist in sales/marketing functions. 
  • May assist in claim service contract development to include service pricing and billing. 
  • Occasional travel for educational, marketing or for other general purposes. 
  • Assist in the development of claim management policy and philosophy. 
  • Assist in the development and utilization of claim information systems. 
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance team by attracting, onboarding, recruiting, and retaining team members.
  • Drive the performance management process by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback, and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
  • Review reserve amounts on high cost claims and claims over the authority of the individual examiner.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience AND
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office/PC literate
  • Experience collaborating across work groups
  • Knowledge of insurance legal statutes and procedures
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance legal and regulatory environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience managing commercial general liability claims
  • 8+ years of experience in Litigation Management including working closely with attorneys
  • Strong expertise working at an Insurance Carrier and/or TPA
  • 8+ years of direct people management and performance experience
  • Claims operations experience
  • Knowledge and skill in claims handling
  • Negotiation experience
  • Experience in commercial general liability claims
  • Analytical skills

The salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.

Commercial Liability Examiner

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Liability Examiner interested in a full-time, remote position to join our TPA Department.

Our ideal candidate is an expert in handling full claim assignments in a TPA environment for Commercial Liability and Property Damage programs, including GLPD, GLBI, D&O, contractual liability, and full claim management, including litigation. Candidates should have strong negotiation skills and be proficient in complying with standards, managing expectations, supporting client specific protocols, and fulfilling management directives. Must have significant commercial experience. Disclaimer: candidates are required to have:

  • 5 years' or more experience working as Commercial Property & Casualty Liability / Bodily Injury desk examiner for a carrier (premises only - do not include auto, medical or trucking)
  • a current resident state adjusters license, and the ability to obtain a reciprocal Florida adjusters license upon hire
  • Litigation experience
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
