Claims Administrative Associate

Allied American USA is seeking a Claims Administrative Associate to assist with professional, quality claim services for our customers and clients. You will perform administrative functions relating to daily, TPA, and catastrophe claim operations for specific client programs. Responsibilities include accurate data entry for new claims, customer support, payment processing, preparing letters, routine correspondence, and reporting. Job Details

  • Monitor claims inbox for Incoming e-mails, and distribute and file appropriately
  • Receive and enter initial Notice of Loss information
  • Analyze information and proofread data for accuracy
  • Maintain accurate and complete files, updating the claims system daily
  • Compose correspondence including acknowledgement letters
  • Acts as primary contact with callers; direct calls to the appropriate contact or escalate to specialist
  • Maintain superior level of support and service; respond to specific internal and external client requests
  • Maintain a favorable and positive working relationship with internal and external clients
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as requested
  • Contribute to adjuster recruitment efforts
  • High School Diploma, required, Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • FL adjusters license, preferred; or, ability to obtain in first 6 months of employment
  • 2-4 years job related experience, with an insurance carrier or independent adjusting firm, preferred
  • Familiarity with insurance claims processing, preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products, Adobe or comparable PDF software; excellent computer skills, required
  • Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities; pivot easily between tasks
  • Attention to details and accuracy
  • Ability to work during volume surges and/or catastrophes, including working significant overtime, as needed
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills

  • Business office environment, typically Mon.-Fri., 8 hours/day, in our HQ in Tampa, FL
